Buckshot Roulette: Python Edition (v1.5)

A faithful, terminal-based reimagining of the hit game Buckshot Roulette, built entirely in Python. Face off against a cold, calculating Dealer in a deadly game of chance where the stakes are your very soul.

  • 💀 THE GAMEPLAY

Enter a dark, underground club where a 12-gauge shotgun sits on the table. The rules are simple: the chamber is loaded with a random mix of live and blank shells. You and the Dealer take turns. Will you play it safe or take the risk for a double payout?

🛠️ FEATURES

  • Pure Python Experience: Runs directly in your terminal. No heavy engines, just raw code and atmosphere.
  • Authentic Item System: Use strategic items to tip the scales in your favor:
    • Saw: Double the damage for the next shot.
    • Cigarette: Restore one charge of your health.
    • Beer: Eject the current shell from the chamber.
    • Magnifying Glass: Peek at the current shell.
    • Handcuffs: Skip the Dealer's next turn.
  • Procedural Retro Audio: Features a built-in sound engine that generates 8-bit sound effects on the fly using standard libraries.
  • Dynamic Visuals: Detailed ASCII graphics, health bars, and stylized UI for maximum immersion.
  • Multilingual Support: Switch between English and Russian in the settings.
